Episode 05: ADHDInterrupted’s founder Alina Kislenko on Relationships with ADHD

Today I chatted with founder of the ADHDInterrupted Centre for ADHD and Autism, Alina Kislenko. As a registered psychotherapist and Assistant Clinical Professor Adjunct at McMaster Medical School which takes special focus in ADHD and Autism. Our conversation today was truly impactful for me personally, and I believe will impactful for many, as we focused on personal relationships with ADHD, and I was able to vocalize the non-ADHD perspective. We talked about the feelings of resentment, feelings of neglect, that can easily manifest in a ADHD dynamic, and the importance of effective communication and boundaries. The charming candour and sincerity of Alina’s advice and knowledge was not just important for the ADHD community and those connected to it, but absolutely relevant to relationships as a whole.
